Assistant Manager-Trans.Line NOC

Degree in Electrical/Power Engineering, 10/12 years experience in planning, routine maintenance of Transmission cables and Over Head Lines, skills in supervision of cable/OHL installation and having good knowledge of issuing and processing NOCs with excellent Communication and negotiation skills in coordinating with various clients, contractors and other Govt. Authorities regarding NOC and Violation issues. Shall be familiar with the protection, safety, methods and precautions to be followed during excavation nearby the transmission lines
This position is responsible to;.
• Provide update on strategies and objectives of the NOC unit and prepare suitable initiatives, action plans to achieve set target and goals.
• Ensure timely processing of NOCs and check the NOC database to monitor updates and performance.
• Study design and construction NOCs, provide comments and observations and forward to direct in-charge for approval.
• Conduct meetings with contractor/consultant to resolve issues related to critical NOCs and discuss proposed solutions to confirm safeguarding and compliance to requirements.
• Tracking daily admin process, prepare correspondences, forward fax messages to concerned clients for meetings or non-conformance to legal requirement.
• Review and process entry permits to substations in coordination with Transmission Lines and equipment maintenance sections.
• Ensure proper up-keeping and maintaining of NOC records, legal agreements, undertakings, drawings and correspondences.
• Coordinate with other DEWA departments (Drawing and permits, Projects, Consumer Service etc) to provide updates or feedback related to important NOCs.
• Assign and distribute the volume of work among NOC unit staff and provide necessary delegation of authority to staff to ensure efficiency in processing NOCs.
• Monitor staff performance, carryout the gap analysis and find out required improvement of skill of Patrolling and NOC staff and arrange available training.

All these roles will be based in the UAE.
