Investment Accountant for UAE VINIRMA Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is a 360degree Human Resource Management Consulting and Staffing Services Organization with operations in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Australia, USA, Singapore & India. VINIRMA Consulting is currently looking for Investment Accountant for one of our clients which is a leading Bank in UAE with the following skill set and terms and conditions. Skill Set required: • University degree in Business Administration, with specialisation in Accounting. • Experience in Investment Bankin,Tax. • Relevant professional qualifications (CA, ACA, CPA) • 1 – 4 years relevant experience • Proficient in MS Office and knowledge of IT applications. Responsibilities • Compile transactions for processing in to system • Verify processed transactions for its accuracy • Computation of taxes for payments in accordance with tax treaty • Ensure all deducted taxes are in line with approved tax rates and follow-up for recoveries • Extract benchmark information, compare against NAV and investigate on variances over the tolerance level • Check that General Ledge and the Investment Ledger are in agreement • Investigate on breaks assigned in Reconciliation system and resolve issues • Reconcile the Valuation/Tax reclaims/ FCM balances / cash flows against the external information • Perform reconciliation of cash flows, valuation between periods highlighting changes in cost and gain / loss • Prepare the currency split of assets wherever required • Reconcile information against financials as required • Compute transition cost based in the agreed methodology • Provide accruals for management/ custody/incentive/performance fees based on respective agreements • Review Trail Balance and ensure valuation and accruals are properly represented • Carryout necessary tasks in connection with execution of instructions and notifications received from concerned departments and Investment Committee resolutions in consultation with senior investment accountant. • Follow procedures defined in the procedure manual • Participate in all aspects of testing related to the implementation of any new system / upgrades as required. • Responding to queries and providing information required as agreed with Senior Investment Accountant • Identify issues and discuss with Senior Investment Accountant for raising quires • Perform other tasks assigned by Senior Investment Accountant • Carry out other duties are required Terms and conditions: Joining time frame: Maximum 4 weeks The selected candidates shall be a direct employee of one of the leading Organizations in UAE.
