Head of Financial Controls, Bahrain Ref: RT-03 Head of Financial Controls, Bahrain Our client, a Middle East based commercial Islamic investment bank based in Bahrain with core business lines being Private Equity, Asset Management and Corporate Finance is actively recruiting for an experienced Head of Financial Controls to join their Senior Management Team in Bahrain. The successful candidate who reports to the Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for providing high quality financial control and reporting, management information and advisory function to the Bank. Responsibilities: • Ensure effective operational risk management framework within the bank. • Impart Cross training to all clerical staff and maintain back up for all functions. • Enhance risk awareness conducting training sessions in all departments on an ongoing basis. • Implement plans for financial activities and ensure smooth workflow of departmental operations. • Analyze the MIS reports generated and suggest new amendments to policies and procedures related to areas under Financial Control. Requirements: • Must be MBA/CPA or equivalent degree in banking, finance or related field. • At least 10 years managerial experience in Financial Control in a bank in the Middle East. • At least 3 years managerial experience Financial Control in a bank in the Middle East and with strong background in Islamic Banking.
