Head of Asset Management, Bahrain Ref: RT-01 Head of Asset Management, Bahrain Our client, a Middle East based Islamic investment bank with core business lines being Private Equity, Asset Management and Corporate Finance is actively recruiting for an experienced Head of Asset Management to join their Senior Management Team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will report to the Chief Investment Officer and will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the Asset Management Division. Portfolio asset-classes include listed equities, and private and listed Sukuks. Responsibilities • Structure and sell funds and actively manage portfolio positions. • Ensure the integrity of fiduciary relationships for own and client investments. • Scan the investment scenario and markets for investment and divestment opportunities. • Review investments and make recommendations based on thorough research and analysis of different sectors, industries and companies. • Utilization of the organization’s funds in the most optimal manner, so as to maximize profits within the risk parameters. Requirements • Strong background in Islamic Banking. • Must be CFA / MBA or equivalent degree in banking, finance or related field. • At least 10 years relevant managerial experience in Asset Management in a bank in the Middle East.
